Our Dedicated Staff
Every staff member on the Whistle Stop team has unique talents, skills, and characteristics that they bring into the classrooms making Whistle Stop the special place that it is. Our teachers are selected based on their knowledge of child development, the manner in which they interact with children and adults, and their enthusiasm and initiative. Each staff member completes a thorough application and screening process, which complies with Whistle Stop Standards and local and government regulations before being placed in a classroom. This includes a criminal record check, a protective services check, and the verification of a minimum of two employment references.
Whistle Stop staff members meet for in-services including infant/child and adult CPR, first aid, and planning meetings. They are required to attend a minimum of 12 hours of child development training throughout the year each year. We work together as a team and share individual talents with one another. Get to know your child’s teachers. They are friendly and eager to know you and your child better.
